  1. What no Harry Potter or Twilight? Come on people, I know you are all fans!

    Also, I agree with Melissa's tip on reading Young Adult books, not only is the language better, but there are usually fewer or no racy scenes as well. I made a personal goal to read all 89 Newberry Award winning books, which is the award granted to the best book of the year in youth literature and it has been well worth my reading time!
